The Lipsett Story
Built on four generations of experience. Driven by the future.
The Lipsett Cartage story began in 1966 with a pickup truck hauling freight between Saskatoon and Regina. From those humble beginnings, the company grew alongside Saskatchewan’s agricultural industry, eventually moving into semi-trucks and specializing in the transportation of livestock and feed.
As the transportation industry evolved, so did Lipsett Cartage. Under Glenn Lipsett, the company moved into Super B and flatdeck general freight, establishing the foundation for the business we know today. Through the 1990s and beyond, Glenn continued to build the company, growing its equipment, customer base and reputation for dependable service.
In 2024, Keith Lipsett, a fourth-generation member of the Lipsett family, and Richard Sandstra, a long-term employee and manager, purchased the company.
Together, Keith and Richard continue the direction established by previous generations — building on the company’s agricultural roots and decades of experience in flatdeck and Super B transportation while looking toward the future.
Today, Lipsett Cartage remains a Canadian, family-owned transportation company, focused on reliable service, strong customer relationships, modern equipment and continued growth.
From a pickup truck between Saskatoon and Regina in 1966, to a modern Super B and flatdeck fleet today, four generations have helped shape Lipsett Cartage. The next chapter is just beginning.
